PMS


We’ve all heard about PMS, but do we actually know what it is?


ACOG shares that “Many women feel physical or mood changes during the days before menstruation. When these symptoms happen month after month, and they affect a woman’s normal life, they are known as PMS (Premenstrual syndrome)”.


The symptoms mentioned above can include anxiousness, depression, increased irritability, bloating, headaches, tiredness and more. But PMS can also be easily confused for different, concerning conditions. Make sure you’re talking with your healthcare provider to distinguish between these.
